Many years ago in a galaxy far far away, my career started (and I’ve been around a long, long time). It was the 60’s and I remember hearing about this really neat place called the “Internet”. This Internet place was the backbone for what we all know today as the World Wide Web (www or woo-woo-woo) that started in 1989 (only 20 years ago). The “World Wide Web” is the infrastructure that rides on the internet ( backbone ) and our information world was launched. Websites started popping up like stars traveling at the speed of light. International standards for domain names and HTML (HyperText Markup Language) were created. Websites went from the hundreds to tens of millions almost overnight. Remember that the “Web” is an application/infrastructure built on top of the Internet ( Backbone ) and the place where you will do your Affiliate Marketing magic.

Now with that said, you are going to ask what is the “Most Magnificent Money Making Map” and how does it relate to the WWW and Internet. Very simply, to become a successful Affiliate Marketer, you need a map to understand this very confusing business. You need a map to teach you how to build what is necessary to use the WWW and internet to make money. A trillion dollar industry is built upon it and more money is exchanged on the WWW and Internet than our minds can imagine. You need to learn the map to get a piece of this huge pie.

The world of internet marketing is a vast untapped frontier. Everything is moving at an exponential rate. Your success is directly proportional to your effort. What you need is a coach to teach you the map and help motivate you to a successful online business. If you want to learn more go to 4-Day Money Making Blueprint or Quick Ways to Make Money

Social Media Revolution

Is the social media revolution a passing fad or is it really a fundamental shift in how we communicate and do business? The answer to this question is that social media is the biggest change in how people communicate since the industrial revolution and will only become more pervasive with time. What is your place in it and how can you benefit in business?

The change in how we communicate with each other can probably be traced back to the first morse code signals transmitted near the first half of the 19th century. From there there was the invention of the telephone, radio, television and now the internet. The internet has brought a radical shift in the way people in the world do business and just about everything else. Facebook alone has more than 100 million members and growing. YouTube has more than 100 million uploaded videos. Millions of people read blogs from just about every conceivable topic. Music is downloaded to millions of iPods daily. Most print newspapers in the U.S. are losing circulation and many are going out of business. But what does this all mean, and what does it have to do with you?

If you have a business or want to start one you must take into account the enormous change in how business operates today. It doesn’t mean that a new business owner cannot succeed without a knowledge of social media, but it does mean that learning how to use social media to your advantage can greatly enhance any activity you wish to sink your teeth into. Many people become intimidated by the thought of learning so much new “stuff” on the internet. They would rather just ignore it all as if it doesn’t exist and hope it all goes away. This is much like the old man or woman who still dresses the same way he or she did when they reached their peak, or when they were immersed in the world on a day-to-day basis. The problem is that many older people become out of touch and stuck at some point where they left off in the past, not able to relate well to the world as it is today.

Don’t let this happen to you, analogously speaking, in the world of business. Confront social media head-on. Learn how it can become the best friend you ever had in business. The old fuddy duddy who resists change certainly lives in the world but he is really no longer an active participant in it. Participate in modern technology at least to some degree–if you do your pocket book in business will be just a little fuller.

Marketing via Email

Today’s technology has provided us with easier means of communicating with other people. Branding and marketing is easier with the World Wide Web. Aside from creating a Web Design with useful and interesting content, using email marketing to get a message across to a target audience is also effective. Although email is a very powerful and effective marketing tool, a lot of spammers abuse the medium. However, despite this ugly truth, we still find email a useful tool for communicating and obtaining new information. If you are planning to use email as means of communicating with your customers, you may want to consider buying your own email marketing software to make this task easier.

Buying your own email marketing software

Social Media Marketing has made a significant difference in today’s marketing strategies, but before purchasing a software for email marketing, you should fist determine your goals and finalize your business plans. This will make it easier for you to know the tools that you will need for your business. Having everything organized will give you a better view of your business, point out your strengths, and reveal them so that you can do something about your weaknesses. To make  Email Marketing easier and bearable, you can first look for helpful tips online, so that you’ll get an idea of how to sell through emails.

There are a lot of resources available from which you can learn from. There is no need to limit yourself to new and untested ideas. We all know that anybody can earn money from affiliates, and these affiliates usually make themselves known through email marketing. Now, you can do the same, since there are many email marketing software programs that you can choose from. Using these tools can help you not only improve marketing in emails, but will also make them more effective and efficient. It can also save you time, since you don’t have to do everything manually. These marketing tools have made the lives of online marketers easier, and since they are readily available and accessible, why not take advantage of them as well?

Getting visitors to sign-up

Getting unique visitors and sign-ups to your website is a challenge that will cost you money. It’s a good thing that there is software designed to increase the number of subscribers in your website. More often than not, internet users don’t have the patience to complete a subscriber’s form; however, coming up with ways to make it an effortless task will make a big difference. Be wary of software and products that can only give you mediocre service, because what you want for your business campaign is a major improvement in streamlining your online business campaign. As long as you have reliable software in your arsenal, you can get a more responsive target market and more effective marketing by emails.

I became interested in Internet marketing during my last year in college. After graduating from Babson College with a marketing degree I took on several jobs working for Internet websites as a consultant on how they could improve their outreach. I thinksthat the best way to help a business of any size is by expanding its horizons on the web. As a mother of 2, I found a way to work from home through the Internet and not leave my kids alone. I believes that a mother can do both work and take care of her family. I have been recommending online jobs for housewives and people who work at home for many years now. This is a way that I can balance the two passions of my life, family and internet marketing.

Affiliate Marketing Entrepreneur’s 7 B’s – “Build Better Businesses by Bravely Being Brilliant”

Technology is moving at the speed of mind. Business is moving at the speed of sales. Online Businesses and Affiliate Marketing are the power of both. As an Affiliate Marketing Entrepreneur are you implementing the Affiliate Marketing Entrepreneur’s 7 B’s of ” Build Better Businesses By Bravely Being Brilliant”?

The world of business is as diverse and vast as your mind can imagine. While you might be working on a proposal for a new product, a counterpart in another country could be building the assembly line to produce a new product and a third person could be doing something as diversely different as putting together a set for a new musical. So you might ask, “so what”? Well in the early 60’s and 70’s the process to do these tasks would have been very tedious, laborious and time consuming. It would not have incorporated the technology to the level it has evolved today. This same technology is going to make your life easier and wealthier once you apply it.

Today, the proposal manager doesn’t have to retype his proposal over and over on a typewriter at the expense of several or hundreds of trees; the assembly line engineer doesn’t have to move equipment and machines around several different times and ways exhausting his staff and crew to get things in the correct sequence; the set designer doesn’t have to work endless hours laying out models to put the sets together fluidly for the new musical. Technology has evolved into making these processes amazingly easier by simply applying the correct software, inputting the right parameters to seamlessly solve these business problems.

Simply put, we all can “Build Better Businesses By Bravely Being Brilliant”. Our brilliance and creativity has not been replaced but our hours of tedious time consuming labor has been. Automation is a marvelous thing. The proposal manager can simply word process his proposal and have it reviewed before printing the final copy; the assembly line engineer can organize his line using a graphic and analysis software to create the most optimal path; the set designer can completely layout and storyboard the musical without wasting untold time and effort by construction staff to get it right.

So how does all this apply to Affiliate Marketing. Amazingly, you and I can sit at home and literally bounce our ideas and “brilliance” off of people/bloggers throughout the world to determine if you have a market and if it is a good market. You can identify “keywords” for your campaign by pressing a button and tie it all together in a matter of minutes and hours what would have been impossibly time and resource consuming only 5 years ago. Your ability to “Build Better Businesses By Bravely Being Brilliant” is only limited by how “Bravely Brilliant” and creative you are! Your ability to think not in one, two or three dimensions but in dimensions that extend over the World Wide Web is how mind can conquer matter! This is no less than awesome. With very little money, physical effort or valuable time put down, you can reap the rewards and wealth of making a successful business from the convenience of your own home.

Your grandfather and even father couldn’t imagine that in their lifetime. Now it is up to you to pass on this new technological advantage to your children and grandchildren so they can reap the benefits of a brave new world and “Build Better Businesses By Bravely Being Brilliant”!

Next time I will discuss the Affiliate Marketers 6 C’s, “”Charisma, Charm, Clairvoyance, Character, Cheerfulness and Confidence”

The world of internet marketing is a vast untapped frontier. Everything is moving at an exponential rate. Your success is directly proportional to your effort. The 6 T’s of Affiliate Marketing Truth – Ie, Today, Tomorrow, Timing to the Test

Technology is moving at the speed of mind. Business is moving at the speed of sales. Online Businesses are the power of both. An Affiliate Marketing Truth is Today, Tomorrow, Timing to the Test” is exactly what it says, to be successful in Affiliate Marketing you must find/create a business and provide it to the customer when he needs it, timing is everything!

In 1992, I was working for one of the most prestigious banks in America. I was the Vice President/ Program Manager for a novel product at the time that was going to revolutionize the banking industry. I was commuting between New York City and Vienna, Austria to work with our manufacturer. Guess what? Have you ever heard of the ” Enhanced Telephone”? Likely not. Even though this project lasted for several years expending millions of dollars it never became reality simply because we failed to think about ” Today, Tomorrow, Timing To The Test”.

The ” Enhanced Telephone” was a state of the art telephone in which the customer simply picked up the handset (yes handset’s connected to a phone are almost non-existence today) and the phone would automatically connect the customer to the bank, login to their account to allow them to do their banking on-line. In 1992, this functionality was not available and even though it was a technologically “brilliant” idea, it failed the timing test because as a team we forgot of ” Today, Tomorrow, Timing to the Test”. The marketplace was not ready for the product. You’ve heard the expression ” timing is everything” and it is so true. Back then, ” Today” we were working so hard that we were ” chopping down all the trees and not observing the forest,” so ” Tomorrow” the opportunity was missed and we failed to put ” Timing to the Test”. We didn’t realize that if we “built” it they MAY NOT “come”.

To further contribute to the demise of the “Enhanced Telephone” was the timing of the banking industry being slammed with a major recession. This was the backlash of the leveraged buy-outs of the day. The result was that I, along with over 6,000 of my co-workers, were laid off.

So, learn from this very expensive and painful mistake. Be sure to be sure that the product/market/industry you are going to sell has been put through the 6 T’s of Truth? Will the product be needed ” Today” and ” Tomorrow” and put ” Timing to the Test”!

Next time, I will discuss the 5B’s of Affiliate Marketing Winning, i.e. ” Better Business By Being Brilliant”.

How to Use Blogs in Successful Affiliate Marketing – A 3-Step Guide

1. Map Out Your Target Audience

One of the most important aspects of affiliate marketing is to know who you are trying to sell to. So depending on what product you are trying to sell, carefully think about the people you think will buy your product. For an ab-building product you might write down “male,” “under 40,” “students,” “single,” “interested in weight-training.”

Next, about the type of blogs your audience will likely be reading. Continuing the ad-building example, you might think of:

“Men’s Style”
“Bodybuilding Blogs”
“Sports Blogs”
“Health & Fitness Blogs”

Once you have mapped out your target audience and thought of a few types of blogs they might visit, you can move on to finding the specific blogs that will be most successful in selling your product.

2. Use Blog Finder Tools

To find these blogs, you have several online tools at your disposal. One is the Google Blog Search tool. Using it, you type in the keywords of phrases that you mapped out for your target audience. So you would type in “men’s style” (Use quotation marks, especially with phrases, to make your search more specific), and the tool returns you a list of blog posts that have discussed the topic.

Now you need to narrow your search so that you find the blogs that are the busiest. Narrow it down to blogs that have been posted to within the last day or week. Then visit these blogs to see which ones get a lot of traffic. Better blogs will have subscriber counters, while others will have to be judged by the number of posts and comments left on those posts. (NOTE: Blogs whose URL includes “blogspot,” are sponsored by Google and are somewhat limited in their advertising potential.) Once you decide on the blogs you are interested in, you can continue to actually advertising on them.

3. Target Blogs With Advertising Spots

At this point, you should contact the owners of the blogs and inquire about advertising on them. There are 2 ways to go about this are either to purchase a banner ad on the site, or to ask about having a sponsored post made on the behalf of your product (you can make sponsored posts on Blogspot blogs). These are questions bloggers are used to, and they should be able to give you a price quickly.

Depending on how busy the chosen blog is, this method could expose your product to thousands of potential buyers for a minimal cost.

Beginner Affiliate Marketing Tips – The Best Ways to Find a Niche That Pays

It can seem hard to find a great niche, whether you’re creating niche websites or doing niche campaigns on Squidoo or other web 2.0 platforms. People can make it really hard though, it doesn’t have to be that hard.

How to find a buying niche

When you want to find a “buying niche” think about where people are going to buy and then go look and see what it is they are buying. You can generally find keywords for those things that aren’t very competitive at all.

Going to shopping dot com is my favorite place to look. You can see all the products they sell, and when you click in any category they are shown by popularity. This tells you people are already buying what is there.

A little quick keyword research and you can usually find plenty of keywords that will be easy to rank for. When you’re doing this technique try to look for products that are in the higher price range. This way you can monetize with amazon or eBay and still get a nice commission check.

The benefits of looking for physical product niches are:

They are evergreen, people are always going to need a washing machine, or a bed. They never go out of style.

You can sell from a trusted source, like Amazon and gain credibility from their name.

You can benefit from Amazon’s amazing use of upsell, because you get commission on any product someone buys when they go through your link. You may sell a dishwasher, and then they realize they need dish soap, and jet dry etc, all of that adds up, and so does your commission.

The niches are a  LOT less competitive. You can find niches with over 75k searches a month and not one competitive site on Squidoo and minimal competition on Google.

These are the  kinds of niches you are looking for, because it means you can quickly and easily get to the top of Google search listings with minimal work, and begin to get tons of free traffic to your site, and buying through your link.

Bottom line Don’t make finding a niche harder than it has to be. The niche(s) you choose is where your money is at. Email Marketing

Email marketing is the process of advertising a company’s goods and services by sending mails to the prospective clients. Such form of promotion helps an advertiser to reach out to the best prospective within a short period. An entrepreneur is able to reach to his potential customers at any time and from any part of the world. This form of marketing is very useful in many ways for promoting a company, its products and services.

For promotion of the products and services through emails, a marketer needs to prepare an opt-in list. An opt-in list includes the list of all those customers who have signed up to receive mails of a specific interest to them. This helps a marketer to mail his advertisements to only those who show interest in his products or services. Before the introduction of this form of promotional method, it was not easy to reach out to the customers abroad. One had to take a trip to an international country, conduct extensive research, implement methods to advertise the products and then close the deal. This consumed resources and time. It was beyond the financial capacity for small and medium sized companies.

However, with the advent of marketing through mail one is able to reach the clients across borders with a click of a button. An entrepreneur reaches his best prospects across borders through internet, which is the most economical means. You are also able to manage complete list of all your clients for the purpose. Technology has turned so advanced that is has developed sophisticated applications to equip a businessperson with such marketing methods. There is Email marketing software with different features available in the market that helps you to manage a large number of email addresses of your prospective clients. You are also able to track your own results after the campaign. You can track the results through tracing the sales achieved after the marketing. A person can also review the responses of the client after the campaign. Analyzing the results help a businessperson to know where he lags behind and to know his strengths that he should maintain in the future campaigns.

Promotion through mails helps an enterprise to tap the potential market and explore new markets to keep the business uninterrupted.

Rebecca Wills has great expertise in writing articles regarding various marketing strategies. This time she has come up with explaining about various promotional methods like email marketing that can be used to promote the business. For more details visit: http://www.emailprogen.com.

Learn How to Save Money, Earn Money & Go Green With Internet Affiliate Marketing in a Bad Economy

Are we in a recession or depression? Well, that depends on you who talk to. Most people tend to agree that the economy is pretty shaky and that people are scared. The bail out is a mess. People are losing their jobs, their homes, their dignity. Blah blah, blah.

The first thing you should do is stop watching the news. This negativity can begin to wear on you. Don’t let it. Your economy is what you make it. Only you can determine your future. This is a time where people need to take action starting with their budget and look for ways to save money. For those out there with only one source of income, especially if it is a job then you need to figure another way to make money. Get a Plan B.

No matter how bad it is or how little money you have, the fact remains that you will still need to shop. Maybe it will only be the necessitates, but you will have to buy them somewhere. Right?

Internet shopping is on the rise for that reason, among many others. Retailers are offering big discounts and Free shipping many times. Not only will you save money on parking and gas, you will reduce your carbon footprint and save your valuable time.

There are a few tricks to getting maximum savings.

1. Comparison shop – Many times you can Google an item and compare prices, but I also recommend Pricegrabber.com and Nextag.com to find the lowest price.

2. Sign up for email from your favorite stores – They will send you coupon codes, discounts and specials.

3. Coupon codes – Always search Google for Ex: “Macy’s coupon codes”. There are a ton of coupon sites and you can usually get a discount or free shipping. Currentcodes.com is a really good place to find them. When you check out then you will see a box to enter that code and receive the discount.

4. Shipping charges – Freeshipping.org is a great place to look for Free shipping. many time the shipping is still cheaper than if you drive to the store with the cost of fuel and your time.

5. Sales Tax Savings – Be sure to look for stores that are out of your state so that yo can save the sales tax. Drugstore.com is a great example for me because I buy all of my toiletries, prescriptions, household items and save an additional 6%. Plus they have a program where they also give you 5% drugstore dollars on most items to spend on future orders. It really adds up big time & has saved me time and money because I no longer walk out of a store with impulse items.

6. Join an Internet Affiliate Program – This is the BIG BONUS! – You can earn from 1-30% cash back in addition to the savings mentioned above. There are over 800 stores with everything you could ever need. Pet supplies, office supplies, Airfare, Hotels, household cleaning products, healthy snacks, vitamins, prescription drugs, clothes, shoes, organic and eco-friendly products.

7. Become a Ecommerce Broker – It only makes sense that you would share these incredible discounts and savings with other people, wouldn’t you? Consumers are desperate to save money and in my opinion everyone needs a plan B during these tough economic times. You would agree, wouldn’t you?

A family of four should save on average approximately $ 200 per month or more based on these shopping strategies all combined. An Ecommerce Broker has unlimited income potential. Forrester Research, Inc. forecast that eCommerce will be $ 329 billion in 2010, which is up from $ 172 billion in 2005. The increase translates to a solid 14 percent compound annual growth rate over the next five years.

An Ecommerce Broker has an opportunity to position themselves in two industries that are experiencing tremendous growth. Internet Affiliate Marketing (eCommerce) & the environmental movement. Where do you see yourself in the next 5-10 years? What is your plan B and do you have a financial plan in place to get you there?

Stacy Kinney is an Internet Network Marketing and Social Media coach. She teaches the most effective methods for lead generation on the internet today. Stacy is implementing this proven marketing system with all of her new Ecommerce Brokers that wish to have quick national expansion.
